A lot of women experience difficulties in getting pregnant. This may be due to a variety of reasons such as insufficient production of ocytes or inherited/externally based problems (e.g. the Pelvic Inflammatory disease, polycystic ovary syndrome, etc.). If you are unsure of your problem, please consult your GP or contact us by email.
Prague Beauty Ltd. currently offers two types of assisted reproduction: In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and Egg Donation program (ED). The pregnancy rate using IVF technique in 2006 was 46.1% which is a very impressive result! The average waiting period for an egg donor is usually less than three months.
All prescribed drugs are paid in Egg Donation program. IVF In Vitro Fertilization is quoted without hormonal drugs prescribed since they significantly vary among individuals.
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is the currently most effective and popular technique. The client takes hormonal tablets to support the ovaries to produce more eggs. Once the eggs are fully matured, they are collected and fertilized using partner's sperm (a number of eggs are stored in case the fertilization fails on the first trial). Within five days, a few embryos are transferred back to the uterus (the IVF increases a chance of multiple births).
Price of one cycle is £3000, excluding prescribed hormonal medication, otherwise all is inclusive for both partners, ie air-fare, waiting at the airport, taxi, accommodation, all medical issues (tests, examination etc., medical insurance, all taxes and surcharges, and aftercare).
Cost of hormonal medication varies from £500 to £2000 and this can be quoted on the first appointment.
Below, there is a time diagram that shows how the IVF procedure looks like:
Egg donation is suitable for women who cannot fall pregnant despite hormone therapy, or for women who cannot use their own eggs.
Egg donors in the Czech Republic are white women under 35 who underwent genetic and gynecological examinations, are in perfect health without infectious diseases (including STD's), and meet some other requirements such as normal levels of hormones in blood. Donors are mostly of higher education (nurses, teachers, etc). You are not allowed to contact the donor under any circumstances or allowed any information to get in touch with her!
Recipient woman must also meet certain criteria: less than 47 years old, a suitable uterus, oncological and breast examination scores must be within the normal range, and she has to be without contagious diseases and STDs.
Donated eggs are fertilized using the partner's sperm. After the insemination of the eggs, the embryos are frozen. Six months later the donor is checked for HIV and then the transfer of embryos are performed.
Price for the Egg Donation program is £5000 (all inclusive - for both partners, ie all prescribed drugs, air-fare, waiting at the airport, taxi, accommodation, all medical issues (tests, examination etc., medical insurance, all taxes and surcharges, and aftercare).
