Dr Karel Urban

Dr Karel Urban graduated from the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague. Since 1998 he has worked at the Clinic of Plastic Surgery of the University Hospital Na Bulovce in Prague and he became the Clinical Director of the department in 2005. In March 2006, he became the Head of Department of the Plastic Surgery at this hospital.

He received a fellowship at the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University. He is the main surgeon at the private St. Anna's Clinic, Prague. He qualified for certificates in general surgery and in plastic surgery, as well as certificates for operating lasers and for injection implants and botulinum toxin application. He works also in the Laser Centre offering the possibility of a combination of the operations.

He participated in residencies in England and Switzerland. He is a member of the Association for Plastic Surgery and Association for Aesthetic Surgery of the Czech Medical Association of J.E. Purkyne, and the International Confederation for Plastic Reconstructive And Aesthetic Surgery.
