Assisted Reproduction with Prague Beauty
A lot of women experience difficulties in getting pregnant. This may be due to a variety of reasons such as insufficient production of ocytes or inherited/externally based problems (e.g. the Pelvic Inflammatory disease, polycystic ovary syndrome, etc.). PB Baby - division of Prague Beauty Ltd. currently offers two types of assisted reproduction: In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and Egg Donation Program program (ED).
The pregnancy rate using IVF technique in 2012 was 46.1% which is a very impressive result! The average waiting period for an egg donor is usually about 2 months.
Egg donation is suitable for women who cannot fall pregnant despite hormone therapy, or for women who cannot use their own eggs.
All prescribed drugs are paid in Egg Donation program.
How the Egg Donation is done with us
Below, there is a time diagram that shows how the Egg Donation procedure looks like:
Recipient woman
Recipient woman must also meet certain criteria:
- less than 49 years old
- a suitable uterus
- oncological and breast examination scores must be within the normal range
- she has to be without contagious diseases and STD's
- and have a male partner.
First Trip - Consultation and Examination
Two trips to the Czech Republic are usually needed.
On the first trip both partners come to the Czech Republic to have an appointment with the specialist ( 1 - 2 day lasting trip ).
Partners do not have to be a married couple, but for the purpose of the treatment woman should take her partner she lives intimately with. Precondition is that any previous matrimony was legally terminated - divorced.
Consultation lasts up to 3 hours and includes medical history taking and examination. In most cases, partner's sperm is collected as well. Therefore, we recommend selecting the date of the first visit out of menstruation days of the woman and after a three days abstinence from sexual intercourse. Waiting time for the appointment is about 3 - 4 weeks.
Clients pay just for this appointment and travel expenses, it is £700. If they are satisfied and decide to continue with the ED programme, partner gives a sperm to be frozen and they will pay a deposit of £1300 and both sums (£700 + £1300) are discounted from the final price then.
Egg Donors
Egg donors in the Czech Republic are just young white women, due to ethnic composition in this country, age 21 - 35, who underwent genetic and gynaecological examinations, who do not undergo any infertility treatment, are in perfect health without infectious diseases (including STD's), and meet some other requirements such as normal levels of hormones in blood.
Donors must meet austerity criteria:
- Good state of health - physical and mental as well
- Completed secondary education at least
- Family case history without any risky illnesses
- Standard number and appearance of chromosomes
- No sexually transmitted diseases
- Negative result of a gynaecological examination, ovarian accessibility
- Negative result of genetic examination including examination for cystic fibrosis
- Positive opinion of the donor's physician
- Individual with drug, alcohol, or narcotics abuse are excluded
- Donors after birth of one child at least are preferred
Donors are mostly of higher education, students, nurses, teachers. They are young mothers on maternity, the anamnesis and the state of health of whom is known, as they attended the prenatal care at the clinic.
We can usually fulfill requirements about a donor height, hair colour, eye colour and blood group, but you are not allowed to identify the donor under any circumstances according to the law.
When a donor for you is found, she undergoes hormonal ovarian stimulation and subsequent collection of eggs. Donor's oocytes are collected using trans-vaginal puncture quided by ultrasound (under anaesthetics) and fertilized using partner's sperm in the embryological laboratory.
Second Trip - Embryo Transfer
Typical waiting time for donated eggs varies between 1 - 4 months, usually it takes less than 2 months, in most cases donor is found after 3 - 5 weeks.
When the donor is found, remaining sum (£4000) is payable, the donor starts her hormonal stimulation as well as you and you will come to the Czech Republic for the second visit. It is not neccessary to travel with your partner again, but of course your partner is welcome.
We guarantee at least 6 follicles from the donor. Donated eggs are fertilized with frozen partner's sperm. Embryos are cultivated and 3, 4, or 5 days old are transferred into your uterus.
Unused embryos are frozen and ready for any other additional kryoembryotransfer (KET).
Next day after the embryotransfer you can fly home - whole second visit usually lasts 2 - 8 days.

Egg Donation Package Price
Package price for the Egg Donation programme is £6000 (or £5100 without air-tickets). The price is all inclusive for both partners and covers everything with no hidden extras.
The package price includes (among others) :
- air-tickets for both trips for both partners, from any European airport with a direct flights to Prague
- representative who will wait for you at the airport and completely take care of you during your both stays
- all transportation among airport - clinic - apartment
- accommodation in our luxury 4 star apartment (or a 4 star hotel) with breakfast, free Wi-Fi internet, free UK landline and SkyTV
- all medical issues especially:
- all medication and prescribed drugs *
- gynaecological, ultrasound, STD and sperm examinations
- complete donor's expenses
- sperm cryoconservation
- ICSI and extended embryos cultivation

* We pay for the drugs just till the pregnancy test made from blood, which is performed 14 days after the embryotransfer. Then all the care, including medication is up to client's obstetrician since we cannot guarantee care and follow-up in other countries then in the Czech Republic.
We can also offer a package price which also covers everything just except the air-tickets. Package price without air-tickets is £5100 and you can buy them by yourself if it suits you more.
