How it works with Prague Beauty

Going abroad for cosmetic surgery is a big decision, especially to a foreign country with a different language. However, our team will take care of you from the very moment you arrive to Prague until your departure back to the UK/EU. We endeavour to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. All our staff speaks English, so communication will not be a problem.

Prague Beauty has treated more than 2000 clients just from the UK since 2005 and the vast majority were more than happy. In addition, as our medical staff are highly trained and experienced, complications are minimal (in 2012 the rate of complications was 0.3%). Below, there are photos of our previous client, Ann, who have been with us for breast enlargement.

How it works

We will be in touch via e-mail or telephone prior to your arrival in Prague. Tom will be at the airport to meet you and help you during the trip with your all difficulties you might have.

The first place you will be taken to is the Perfect Clinic situated near to Prague's centre, approx. 40 minutes from the airport. Clinic is a modern buildings with comfortable rooms with a telephone and satellite TV. We aim to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times. The rate of postoperative infections in the last 4 years is virtually zero, with no MRSA or VRE infection having been detected so far. The operation theatre is air-conditioned and equipped with up-to-date medical equipment, facilitating same day surgical procedures. Our surgeons use techniques that leave minimal scarring. You should not have any language difficulties; Dr Kufa and Dr Pros speaks English very well.

Prior to surgery, a general examination will be done by a doctor and a nurse. You will undergo ECG (non-invasive painless examination of heart electrical activity and rate) and physical examination incl. blood pressure. The nurse will take your blood (and urine) for testing. Once we receive the "all clear" from the test results, the surgeons can proceed with the surgery. The reason for these pre-operative tests is a legal pre-requisite to ensure that clients do not have an underlying infection or illness that can complicate the surgery and subsequent recovery.

During your pre-operative consultation with your surgeon you will have the opportunity to discuss any issues. He will explain the procedure, answer all your questions, and discuss your requirements. Next, you will be visited by the anaesthetist who will discuss possible options for the type of anaesthetics that can be used with you where applicable (certain procedures allow the use of local anaesthesia). We would like you to be calm and relaxed prior to the surgery, that is why we want to allow you to talk to all the relevant people and have all your questions answered, so you can have peace of mind.

After the surgery, you will stay at the clinic for one or two more days for observation. Each day the surgeon will check you and the nurses will be available to assist you. It is most likely that you will share your room with another British or Irish client thus you can share your new experience with somebody else. You would be able to call home or watch some English channels on the TV. If you take someone with you (e.g. your partner, family), they will be accommodated in our private apartment and will be able to visit you at the clinic.

Once you are released from the clinic, you will be taken to our private apartment called The Ocelot (L'Ocelot), which is suitable for multiple clients (up to 6). Two rooms are designed for couples. You will therefore meet some other clients undergoing cosmetic treatment with us and will be able to chat to them and discuss your experience. The apartment includes Sky TV in each room, free wireless internet connection and an English landline from which you can make free phone calls to the UK, Ireland and EU via internet (this applies to landlines only).

You will have a final check-up before you fly back home. If all goes well, you will fly back as scheduled. In case of complications (e.g. slow healing), you can stay in our private apartment for longer free of charge (your partner/friend would, however, pay as before). If you will feel comfortable after the surgery, you can go for some sightseeing and explore the architecture and culture of Prague, since there is much to offer in art and history. We can provide you with an information package recommending places to visit. On the day of your return home, Tom will pick you up two and a half hours prior to your departure. This allows you enough time to get to the airport stress-free and check-in two hours before the flight.
