Thigh Lift with Prague Beauty

thigh-lift-36254855.jpg The main purpose of Thigh Lift surgery is to remove excess skin from the thigh and buttock, after significant weight loss.

A lower body lift trims excess skin on the buttocks and thighs. For an inner thigh lift, the surgeon makes an oval-shaped incision high on the inner leg starting near the groin and continuing down to the knee then pulls the remaining skin together and stitches it into place. Some fat may be removed with liposuction. The outer thighs and buttock can be lifted through a hip-to-hip incision across the back, above the buttocks.

What To Expect After Thigh Lift Surgery

Bruising and swelling are to be expected as well as a "tight" feeling in the thighs. The thighs will appear thinner and firmer. Thigh lift results are often permanent, but the effect may be reversed as you get older or if you gain weight. Quality of the skin also plays a role in the lasting of the result. You will be required to stay at the clinic for two nights as movement will be minimal initially. You will need 2 weeks off to rest and a high standard of hygiene will be important whilst the area is healing to prevent infection. You will be required to wear a supporting elastic garment for several weeks to ensure a smooth result.

The Risks of Thigh Lift

Generally, the normal risks associated with surgery and general anesthetics (i.e. bleeding, infection, nerve damage, unexpected drug reaction, etc.). Specifically, the surgery leaves permanent scars which may be long or large - and can leave your thighs with an asymmetrical appearance.

Tips and Traps of Thigh Lift

  • You will have scars in the groin and, in some cases, on the internal part of your thighs with the inner thigh lift.
  • Anticipate recurrent droop of your thighs after several years. Of course, this procedure can be repeated.
  • Try to stop smoking 2-4 weeks before the surgery to reduce the risk of healing problems.
  • Inner thigh lift leaves the client with tighter and more attractive thighs. The price of an outer thigh lift is a long horizontal scar.

Dear Jackie, I am glad that you are happy with the results and that you would like to go for another procedure. However, I am afraid that face lift with arm lift cannot be combined together as both are very complex procedures. We would have to perform both surgeries separately with a time gap of at least three months to prevent healing complication from occuring. The price for a face lift is 2600 GBP and the price for arm lift is 2700 GBP all inclusive. Regards, Natalie.

Hi, I am interested in thigh lift. How long is the recovery time? As i work full time and I can only get so much time off work. What does it involve and how bad is the scaring. How do I go about arranging an appointment?

Dear Tracy, thigh lifting requires you to spend 6 days in Prague and we recommend to take another week off work, which means 2 weeks in total. However, it depends on the nature of your work. In some cases, where you do not have to move as much, you will be fine after a week. Scarring is minimal (more details when you request a brochure). When you go with us, you do not actually have to make an appointment - once you obtain the brochure, you send us pictures of the area you would like to change and our surgeon provides you with his proposal (free of charge). Appointments are only realized when you are after the surgery and need medical support (our consultant will then visit you in person or at our office). Regards, Natalie.

Dear Alison, the reason why there is not such a price is that they cannot be combined together in one session. There is a risk of poorer blood flow and healing impairment as both surgeries are fairly complex and demanding for the organism. We can therefore offer you to have them done separately, with a distance of at least 3 months from each other. The price for thigh lifting is 2700 GBP and for varicose vein it is 2050 GBP. Note that our prices are all inclusive - the package contains the air-tickets, accomodation, all medical check ups, transport within Prague by our driver and two years of aftercare within the UK. You will be required to spend 6 days in total in Prague, from which two days are spent at the clinic (full board) and additional four days in a four-star hotel (bed & breakfast). Where would the follow up appointments take place? Could I have both operations (breast uplift and armi lifting) at the same time? Can my partner stay with me at all times before and after surgery?

Dear Susan, both operations can be performed together in one session. The price for this combination is currently 3500 GBP all inclusive. Your partner can stay with you in both the clinic and the hotel, we can arrange it for you without any problems. The initial consultation is based on your photos, so you do not have to travel all the way to Prague to be seen by the surgeon. Dear Estelle, I understand your situation, and I am sure that it should not be a problem to remove the loose skin and perform an arm/thigh lifting, if applicable. Could you please clear up some confusion about thigh lifting? Where are the scars placed? Also, for arm lifts, is the scar under the arm pit? Many thanks, Karen.

Hello Karen, with thigh lift, scars are localised in inguinal area, i.e. in groins, and can be hidden by underpants. With arm lifting, the scar usually goes on the back side of the arm and is visible with short sleeves. It is sometimes possible to hide the scar just into armpit but with small armlifts only.
